This was drawn with a 3B leaded pencil, on a
8½" x 11" High Bright (87) smooth finished paper.
My second try trying to draw Gillian. I am indeed proud of this drawing, I really tried to draw an accurate line drawing before rushing into the shading. The most important thing I learned is it is always important to draw an accurate line drawing because you want to give your drawing a likeness. I blended with a soft paper tortilon and highlight my areas, nose, hair, eyes with a kneading eraser. I drew some of this while watching the X-Files, took 6 hours in all to draw.
